Clan Wars - Season 14 Rules & Information

World of Valheim

Ragnarök, The war of the Gods is upon us!

The whispers of Prophecy have rang clear. The horns of ages are sounding. A great battle is upon us! Loki is gathering his might to take on Odin in the final battle of the Gods. And you, a lowly human is stuck in the middle. You have but 3 choices before you. You can chose to side with Odin, and prepare for the Great battle, and strengthen his forces to defeat Loki. Or you can oppose Odin, secretly working for Loki, with a plan to over throw his efforts at the last moment. The choice is yours! For those who do not with to engage in war, you may choose to live a more peaceful life, away from war, but know that no one is ever safe from war, and it may still come knocking at your doorstep.

  1. Which side a player takes is a private matter. All players can break off into whatever size Clans they wish to have, whether it be a clan of 1 or a clan of 100, that choice is yours. It is also the choice of the clan on who they follow, but individual players can choose not to follow the same god/path as their clan per the storyline, whether it be Odin or Loki, it is your secret if you choose for it to be a secret. All systems of government are decided by the Clans and how they choose to form/elect leaders etc.
  2. PVP is completely optional and up to the Clan Leaders to decide whether or not their Clan is to remain PVP on at all times or not. Punishments for not adhering to such rules is also dictated and enforced by Clan leaders.,
  3. Clans that Choose to PVP run the risk of loosing whatever loot is on their person when they engage in battle. This is a general rule of engagement. If you choose to fight, be prepared to lose.
  4. Any unwarded Portals/Ships/work sites etc.. Or anything built in the world, is subject to complete theft, just like real life, if you want to keep it safe.. Lock it up.
  5. Raiding bases is only permitted between Clans that choose to engage in such activities, otherwise you are protected by Odin. If you choose to engage in raiding each others bases, the rules are simple. Contact the other Clan and set a time/day for the raid to be conducted. If you engaged in a raid, or invite someone to raid your base, the only rule is that WardIsLove must be turned off completely during the raid at BOTH bases. Failure to do so will result in the "offended" side being given a 15 minute "free loot" phase of your base. This means that during a raid, a group of fighters, or even just one person, can sneak into the other Clans base, and steal from it, while the raid is going on.
  6. Clans may only 1 "MAIN BASE", you are permitted to set down other Wards at your portals around the world, but you are not permitted to store a ton of resources at this wards, 1 or 2 chests max for material gathering or storing for transport only, these are meant to be temporary, unless its protecting a portal. You are not permitted to create "backup bases" etc. Only 1 base per Clan.
  7. All Clans are expected to send at least 1 builder to help build up the main Kingdom, this is part of the Story/Quest, even if you are "against Odin' you should engage in this as sort of a "disguise". All the building quests should be conducted at the main kingdom, to help promote the storyline to keep things rolling smoothly. You are still permitted to build up your own fortress, this is just for the building quests, it is expected that those quest are utilized at the main base. IF there is nothing for you to build -per the quest, I.E> all the stairs have been built, and you've got a quest to build stairs, then you can utilize that somewhere else, however, you should first fulfill the building needs of the Kingdom BEFORE you use it anywhere else. This rule is not "Enforced" it is "requested".
  8. The main Kingdom is permitted to be lived in by anyone. And anyone can become King/Queen. The process is simple. The most powerful Rules. Anyone can declare themselves King/Queen to the main Kingdom, however, ANYONE ELSE can challenge said person to gain rulership at any time in what is called a Rulership Challenge. If the King/Queen is killed in a Rulership Challenge, then rulership passes on to the challenger. Rulership fights are 1 v 1, is a no holds bar, come with your best stuff. When a player takes rulership or becomes King/Queen they get to set the government system/rules/taxes etc. However anyone is permitted to leave the Kingdom whenever they choose. They may only take whatever is stored in their private home, and not from the "kingdom storage". They may also not dismantle their home if they built / acquired one, it must remain intact.
  9. There are "prebuild" "prefab" houses scattered around the world. SOME of them will contain NPCS and be warded to prevent theft. These houses are off limits except to do your quest. Any other Prebuild-Prefab house existing in the world, is free to claim providing you don't want to build your own house. WardIsLove will prevent any house from being destroyed by raid or otherwise, however these houses are also completely indestructible.
  10. There is 1 main "Village" that contains a bunch of houses/rooms. These houses are permitted to be lived in for an initial Cost of 1,000 gold to purchase a room, if you wish to Live in the main village, but to be added to the ward you will need to contact an Admin, beyond that whoever declares themselves "Ruler" determines the taxation of the Village. This Village acts as the main hub/questing area/Player Trading Zone for this season. Please note that while anything you "store" in this village is safe from "outsiders" it will not be safe from any other residents of the Village. If theft occurs, contact the Ruler. So be mindful in what you store there. You are permitted to have a house elsewhere as well (or if you are in a clan you can store things at your Clan Base). No Portals are permitted to be built in the Village, there is 1 portal there already from the "main Island". You can place a portal near the portal at the Main Island if you want quicker access to the Quest Village. This Village acts as the staging point for many of the Build quests to expand this Village into a Kingdom with a Castle etc. Please utilize this area for that reason, and understand you are PART of a Kingdom, and whatever that means to your character.

Please note a glitch in the latest Marketplace, makes it possible to read all the quests ahead of time prior to finished the quest "before hand". If you choose to read all the quests on the NPC before doing them, etc.. that is your choice.
